Dietician

Dietitians provide the general public with information on food and nutrition based on the science of nutrition. It's critical to realize that dieticians are allied healthcare professionals, not medical doctors.

They are responsible for giving health advice, promoting healthy eating, giving guidance on special diets, educating the public and other healthcare professionals about nutrition, identifying and meeting patients’ nutritional needs, assisting with dietary changes, and supporting the work of other healthcare professionals.

After conducting this assessment, the dietitian will identify a nutrition diagnosis and suggest treatments. Diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, obesity, osteoporosis, kidney disease, wound healing, and gastrointestinal problems are a few illnesses that can be treated using medical nutrition treatment.

Guidelines regarding the patient’s dietary restrictions, nutritional support needs, and medical conditions are provided to the dietician. Based on the data, the dietician develops a meal plan and sends it, along with any additional instructions, to the kitchen.
